Whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced recreational skater, come improve your skills and fitness with Learn to Skate! Our courses are run under the guidelines of USFSA Basic Skills Program, known as Learn-to-Skate USA. This program has been developed to provide a strong base of skating skills and techniques that will provide you with a lifetime of skating enjoyment and give you the ability to move on to more challenging disciplines like dance, synchronized, speed, hockey, or figure skating!
Learn to Skate Classes are offered:
Saturdays 11:45 AM-12:15 PM
These classes are for beginner skaters up to and including Basic 3. For more advanced students, please check our Aspire Program page.
Costs for Classes are as follows:
$120 for 6 week Learn-to-Skate classes
$20 for One-Time Annual (runs from July 1st to June 30th) Learn-to-Skate USA Membership Fee
Below is our plan for the current season:
Fall 2024 Session: Saturdays October 5 – November 9th & Wednesdays October 2 – October 23rd REGISTRATION CLOSED
Fall-Winter 2024 Session: Saturdays November 16th – December 21st from 11:45 AM – 1 PM; NO Classes November 30th for Thanksgiving Break REGISTRATION CLOSED
Winter Carnival Show: Classes on Saturdays November 2nd – December 7th for the performance on December 7th at 6PM. This is a free event to attend. Please join us! REGISTRATION CLOSED
Winter 2025 Session: Classes on Saturdays January 4th – February 8th from 11:45 AM – 1 PM REGISTRATION CLOSED
Winter-Spring 2025 Session: Classes on Saturdays February 15th – March 22nd from 11:45 AM – 1 PM REGISTRATION CLOSED and Wednesdays March 5th – April 9th from 6:30 – 7:30 PM REGISTRATION CLOSED
Spring 2025 Show: Mini-class Group Performance on Saturdays, March 15th – April 19th AND participation in the show with access to practice ice.
Please Note: Spring 2025 Show registration is $10 for 1 guaranteed performance; additional performances are NOT guaranteed. Spring 2025 Group Performance is the Saturday class from 12:15 – 12:30 to learn the group performance based on level.
- Warm-up is 3:15 – 4:15 on April 19th
- SHOW is April 19th at 4:30 – 6PM
Spring 2025 Session: Classes on Saturdays March 29th – May 3rd from 11:45 AM – 1PM
