The role of a coach is to foster a positive learning environment. We value our coaches and support certification.
Instructors in our Learn-to-Skate and Aspire programs are SafeSport certified and complete the Learn-to-Skate certification to properly learn how to instruct fundamental skating skills.
To be designated as a coach, Palouse Hills Skating Club requires the completion of the Core Certification Course through USFSA. Additionally, we require adherence to the Inspiring Coaching Excellence Program (I.C.E.) which includes independent insurance and maintenance of ongoing continuing education annually to maintain certification.
